This is a shot of St. Lukes Church, Liverpool. The church is affectionately known as "the bombed-out church", as it was hit and suffered serious damage during the blitz of May 1941.
I would imagine it's one of the few remains from the period that has stayed in this condition. Nicely captured!

@Bob Israel: Yeah, it was bought by the Church of England who keep it preserved now - the grounds are kind of a public park, and they occasionally have art exhibitions inside. It is beautiful though, glad you like it! :-)
lovely. cool capture

Great shot! I've only ever been to Liverpool once in my life, when I was very young and from then on I became a LFC fan, lol. I must return, it has some beautiful architecture.

@MaryB: Yeah, an LFC fan!! Thats what we like to hear!! ;-) I'm glad Liverpool had a good influence on you then, you could've ended up a blue-nose......lol! Come back, we not only have fab architecture (although at the mo the skyline is taken over by cranes, largely due to the Capital of Culture 2008 buildings work!), but we also have the best people in the country! We'd love to have you back, and I'd love to see the photos you come up with! :-D
Wow, nice night shot! I really like this one! :)

That's a good use of an open shutter. The longer exposure gives this an eerie yet attractive feel.
