Sunshine through the main window of the tower of Lydiate Abbey.
It's a great capture of light and darkness, and the remnants of a broken cross . Excellent B&W!

@Natalia: Thanks Natalia - actually, its not a broken cross, its just a strut from the window frame - I really liked the way it formed a crucifix with the shadow though, so I'm glad you spotted it :-D
Beatiful b/w

@Riya: Cheers Riya :-)
excellent capture, brilliant b&w, adds to the atmosphere. I went to Whitby Abbey, last week and although it's beautiful, it lacks atmosphere, could be because it's high on a hill, my favourite has to be Tintern Abbey :)

@MaryB: Thanks Mary, glad you like it :-) This place is full of atmosphere, but its got a slightly shady history so its not all nice atmosphere! :-/ Still, its an interesting place to visit.....
This is a beautiful shot gal, and call on black and white was really cool. Makes it more interesting. :-)

@bronzebilly u.k.: :-D I'm glad you like it billy! I think the camera can definitely take most of the credit on this one though, it handled the light really well :-)
It's quite beautiful. Photographs like that are difficult to master. The rays of light are amazing.
